Mizzou board to vote on Memorial Stadium reno

The Univ. of Missouri System Board of Curators today will vote on the "expected approval and unveiling of renderings" for Memorial Stadium’s north concourse renovations. The board will take up the project "during its regularly scheduled April meeting," which will take place on the Missouri S&T campus. University leaders now expect the renovation to cost $250M. Of that $250M, "half is expected to come from fundraising." Assuming the Curators vote to approve the renovations, the Mizzou athletics department "will present renderings at a press conference following the meeting." The planning process for the renovation has "continued relatively unhindered by the sudden departure" of AD Desiree Reed-Francois and the "ongoing search for her replacement" (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 4/17).
