NFL Network's 'NFL 360' leads Sports Emmy noms, SBLVIII telecasts right behind

NFL Network’s “NFL 360” leads the 45th Sports Emmy Awards with 11 nominations, while the CBS and Nickelodeon Super Bowl LVIII telecasts are “right behind” at 10 mentions, according to Erik Pedersen of DEADLINE. The ceremony will be on May 21 at Frederick P. Rose Hall in Manhattan. Other nominees include Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football,” which is tied with ESPN’s “E60” for third place with nine. NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” scored five nominations, tying with ESPN’s “SportsCenter.” Continuing the NFL dominance are Fox’s “Fox NFL,” HBO’s “Hard Knocks” and Disney’s “Toy Story Funday Football,” which are all tied with the now-wrapped HBO show “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel” at four nominations each. This year’s Lifetime Achievement Awards recipient at the Sports Emmy ceremony will be CBS’ James Brown (DEADLINE, 4/9).
