TKO Group’s 2023 proxy filing showed Endeavor CEO ARI EMANUEL took home a pay package valued at nearly $65M last year, including a $911,538 salary (it is prorated to reflect only Sept. 12, 2023 to the end of the year), a $24M bonus, and $40M in stock awards. CEO pay packages are dependent on the company hitting key metrics and the share price consistently moving upwards. TKO President and COO MARK SHAPIRO earned a package valued at $16.1M last year, while CFO ANDREW SCHLEIMER took home an $8.8M package. WWE President NICK KHAN, who is also a board member of the company, earned $32M in compensation (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 4/24).

TAKE ME OUT (OF) THE BALLGAME: Comedian ELAYNE BOOSLER said that she was arrested and “held in handcuffs for two hours” Sunday at Dodger Stadium after arguing with an employee who would not let her enter with a purse that violated the stadium’s clear bag policy. The bag in question was a non-see-through bag that “was decorated like a baseball.” In a 3½-minute video posted to her YouTube channel later that day, Boosler said that she eventually was “allowed to leave on her own, without being booked.” She added that the discussion “got heated” and she “did drop ‘an F-bomb’ but the conversation overall ‘was quiet.’” Boosler said that her nephew and his child were allowed to enter, but she was told she “would ‘be arrested for trespassing’ if she didn’t leave” (L.A. TIMES, 4/23).
