Dancing Partners: Nike's Representation Dips Among Women's NCAA Tournament Teams

Nike and its affiliated brands sponsor 37 of the 64 teams in some capacity in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament, down 12 from last year's tourney, according to THE DAILY's annual breakdown of the shoe and apparel brands worn in the tourney. Eighteen teams wear adidas shoes, up 10 from last year. Under Armour, which sponsored seven teams in the tourney a year ago, has nine this year. Russell Athletic supplies the jerseys for two schools, down from three last year. Schools in the chart below are listed by region in their seed order. The first round of the women's tournament begins Friday (THE DAILY).

NBC Olympics’ Molly Solomon, ESPN’s P.K. Subban, the Masters and more
