Buyers & Sellers: Randy Johnson Selling Arizona Estate For $25M

Several current and former MLBers and execs are looking to unload homes in Arizona. Baseball HOFer RANDY JOHNSON's estate in Paradise Valley, Ariz., with 25,000 square feet of space and 12 bathrooms "has been on the market" for $25M. Former MLBer TIM SALMON has put his Flagstaff cabin-style home with "six bedrooms, six-and-half bathrooms and a floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace on the market" for $3.25M. Braves RF NICK SWISHER is "selling his downtown Scottsdale penthouse" for $1.895M. The three-bedroom home "has a high-end theater and great views." Former MLBer JIM LEFEBVRE listed his Scottsdale home in the Ladera Vista area for $1.5M. The five-bedroom home "is located on 2.6 acres." Former MLBer JONNY GOMES is "selling his home in Scottsdale’s DC ranch" for $1.1M. Former D-backs President RICH DOZER has his Phoenix home in "coveted" Arcadia neighborhood for sale at $2.19M (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 3/11)....Giants P MATT CAIN has "tossed his 11,084-square-foot home in Paradise Valley, Ariz., on the market" for $5.85M. The Santa Barbara-style estate "brings to mind an oasis in the desert with mature greenery, rolling lawns, a koi pond and a running stream." Art sculptures, a guest house turned media room, a putting green and a zero-edge swimming pool "fill out the grounds" (LATIMES.com, 3/10).

SUPER MARKET: ESPN's BRAD DAUGHERTY has put his house in the Hope Ranch area of Santa Barbara, Calif., up for sale after less than a year of ownership." He bought the ranch-style home last year for about $2.356M and is asking $2.795M. At "more than two acres, it’s a nice spread with a winding drive, a swimming pool with a spa and a three-stall barn." The remodeled single-story house, built in '53, has "open-plan living areas, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a powder room in 2,136 square feet of space" (LATIMES.com, 3/17).
