ZDF Draws Close To 10 Million Viewers For Champions League Game Broadcast

German public broadcaster ZDF "drew close to 10 million viewers for its coverage of the Champions League on Wednesday," according to Robert Meyer of QUOTENMETER. The second leg of the round of 16 matchup between Bayern Munich and Juventus attracted 9.78 million viewers starting at 8:45pm. The number translated into a maket share of 34.1%. It was ZDF's "highest rated CL broadcast since last year's final between Barcelona and Juventus." In the target demographic 14-49, Bayern's 4-2 victory after extra time obtained a 29.4% share as 3.11 million viewers tuned in (QUOTENMETER, 3/17).
