The Class A Florida State League’s Brevard County Manatees promoted Chad Lovitt to general manager.

The WNBA’s Atlanta Dream named Theresa Wenzel president. Wenzel was associate athletic director and senior woman administrator for Georgia Tech.
 
Colleges
The University of Northern Iowa hired David Harris as athletic director. Harris was senior associate athletic director for student services at Iowa State University.

The University of Texas hired Carli Todd and Scott Swegan as assistant media relations directors. Todd was senior communications coordinator for the Tampa Bay Rays, and Swegan was assistant athletic director for athletic communications at Bowling Green State University.

The Journal of Higher Education Athletics named C. Keith Harrison, an associate professor at the University of Central Florida, editor.

WHITMAN
The University of Illinois hired Josh Whitman as athletic director. Whitman was athletic director at Washington University in St. Louis.

Greg Hotchkiss resigned as Texas Tech University associate athletic director of communications.

The University of Texas-San Antonio promoted Tony Jeffery to assistant athletic director of football.
 
The University of Missouri named Pat Ivey assistant vice chancellor for inclusion, diversity and equity. He was associate athletic director for athletic performance.

Indiana State University hired Sherard Clinkscales as athletic director. Clinkscales was senior associate athletic director for student services and sport administration at North Carolina State University.
 
Facilities
Kentucky Downs hired Jennie Rees as director of publicity. Rees wrote for The (Louisville) Courier-Journal.

BALLARD
The Houston Astros and Washington Nationals named Brady Ballard general manager of The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, the clubs’ future spring training home. Ballard was vice president of Historic Dodgertown.
 
The New York Racing Association named Robert Sica vice president of security. Sica was special agent in charge of the U.S. Secret Service New York field office.
 
Phoenix International Raceway hired Ryan Grab as director of communications. Grab was director of athlete strategy for the UFC.

The Jacksonville Jaguars hired Dejuan Polk as assistant director of pro personnel. Polk was pro personnel coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons.
 
The Minnesota Vikings hired Karin Nelsen as vice president of legal and human resources. Nelsen was general counsel for Cargill.
 
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hired Brad Berlin as equipment manager. Berlin was director of equipment operations at the University of Michigan.

The Los Angeles Kings promoted Brooklyn Boyars to senior director of game presentation and events and Gabby Farrell to rink account executive, and named Xen Gikas event account executive for hockey development.
