The Cowboys are the "first team to announce" a sponsorship with a casino. Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones said that WinStar World Casino & Resort in Oklahoma is now the "official casino of his team." This comes after NFL owners recently " relaxed rules allowing sponsorships from casinos that operate sportsbooks in light of the Supreme Court ruling" to legalize sports betting ( PROFOOTBALLTALK.com, 9/6 ). The deal gives WinStar exclusive use of the team’s logos and marks. Today's press conference announcing the deal was held at The Star in Frisco ( Cowboys ). WinStar also sponsors the PBR event at AT&T Stadium ( THE DAILY ).
